American Bully Vaccinations & Deworming
Nearly every dog gets worms once in their life, so don’t be alarmed if you think your dog might. It is usually a quick fix as long as you pay attention to your dog and it is caught early. We deworm all of our puppies at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks before we ship the puppy to you. Parasites can still be caught after 8 weeks, which is why we recommend bringing your puppy to the vet for a checkup after you receive him/her. The most common types of puppy parasites are roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. Symptoms to look for if you think your puppy may have worms are weight loss, big pot belly, lethargy, and diarrhea.
When you receive your American Bully puppy from us, they will be up to date on their vaccinations, whether it is an 8 week old puppy, or a 3 year old dog. You receive all the paperwork from the veterinarian ensuring that these shots were done. It is up to you to bring your puppy to the vet and continue with the next set of shots. You should NEVER assume your dog is healthy and miss any of these shots! A Rabies vaccine will be administered during the last set of shots for your new puppy. Rabies shots are required by law but depending on what state you live in depends how often your dog will need them. Contact your local vet with any questions regarding vaccinations for you puppy.
